BOSQUES DOÑA MARGARITA

GENERAL INFORMATION

Hacienda Bosques Margarita is an exclusive real estate project accessible to a group of people who desire tranquil forest living while remaining close to all the services one needs to live fully and safely.
The project is being the development of “quintas” in a largely wooded area of timber wood (gallinazo, cedar, oak, espavel, cenizaro, ronron, etc. ) which have been sown in an eye pleasing way on parcels which oscillate in between 5000 and 7000 meters square depending on the natural topography. The lots have already have all the services of electricity and water in place, the prices start at $15 per meter square.
Financing is available with 30% down and up to 70% financing for 15 years and no guarantee necessary other than the property’s own equity. Additionally you can reserve your lot with only $15,000.00 through an purchase option.

LOCATION

We are located in the small town of Quebrada Ganado, 7 miles from Jacó beach, 1 ½ hours from downtown San José, and only 2 miles from Agujas beach which proudly bears the Blue Ecological Flag.


Our property is 400 meters from the center of Quebrada Ganado, a quiet, conservative town which offers most of the services normally offered in a more urbanized area.
The climate is somewhat between moderately dry and moderately humid with a median temperature around 26oC, with an average rainfall of 10.81 cm, distributed in between May and November.


The elevation of the property is 67 to 140 meters above sea level. Furthermore the project is influenced by the Carrara National Park located 5km to the north which contributes to fresher summer temperatures.
Also noteworthy is that although the main access to the farm is by road, it is also possible to travel by horseback over a 15km. trail lush with vegetation, panoramic ocean views, and lovely scenery such as local wildlife and waterfalls.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

With respect to building, while you can choose your own architect and engineer, we have established some minimum building guidelines and recommendations in order to preserve the environmental and physical integrity of the entire project, as well maintain the value and harmony of the neighboring properties.

In the same spirit, since the natural beauty is the main focus and attraction of our project, our interest lies in protecting this asset and the existing ecosystems present, therefore tree cutting will only be approved and be limited to cases where it is absolutely necessary for construction or safety purposes, and with the commitment to re-plant a same or similar specie in their place when possible.


The same goes for disposal of refuse and evacuation of waste water and septic which must again be done according to previously approved technical expertise in this field.

For the care and ease of investors, at the moment of reserving your property, we facilitate an extensive databank of technical information which include a video of your lot with photographs, topographical plans with special three-dimensional views, a soil study showing the property’s geotechnical characteristics, as well as an inventory of the trees found on the property. As well, we can recommend qualified professionals in legal, architectural or engineering, and building, to assist you in any way you might require.
